The main reason you will not be able to get into the app is that we don’t have a valid email address for you in one of the systems which powers Matchday (this system is called Whole Game System)

You can get into the app in one of two ways:

1) Get in touch with your club (usually your club secretary) and ask them to add your email address to Whole Game System

2) Get your manager to invite you to the app! We want to make sure that you are who you say you are so this is what happens in the background.

When you get an invite link from your manager, you enter details into the app which we then use to check in Whole Game System. You will enter your name,  date of birth and address. If these details match what is in Whole Game System your manager will be able to add you to the app and we’ll add your email address to Whole Game System. Once you open the app, you’ll then just need to reset your password using the ‘I DON’T KNOW MY DETAILS’ button.

By the way, if you’re under 16 years old, your parent or guardian will need to create an account for you.

The easiest way to get into Matchday is to get your club (usually your club secretary) to link you to your child’s account and update your details to include an email address in Whole Game System.

That could be because you don’t have a valid role (i.e. Coach, assistant coach, team manager or assistant team manager in Whole Game System) - OR, we don’t have a valid email address for you.

Simply get in touch with your club to add you properly to the system.

If you have parents in your club who want to use Matchday they have to be linked to the youth record in Whole Game System and have an email address added too. (They also need to have a FAN to do this).

Team managers are able to invite adults players (over 16 years old) to the app but the easiest way for you to assist your club is to add the player’s email address straight into Whole Game System. We’ve created a helpful guide below of how to do this:

For a team manager to access the Matchday app they need to have a role and email address in Whole Game System.

The following roles can be assigned:

• Coach
•  Assistant Coach
• Team manager
• Assistant team manager
